Mel takes a dip in the lake

Mel quacks loudly as she approaches the dock and then stumbles over the word ‘unsubstantiated’ while reading the task brief.
When Tom Cashman points out that Mel used to row at school, she confirms that she’s very good at it, and then quickly rows to the ducks. Mel hears a voice and identifies a duck but, as she reaches for it, the boat tips and her leg ends up in the lake. She calls the duck’s speech “absolute rubbish”. After falling completely into the water, Mel wades back to the bank of the lake and hands Tom the duck.
In the studio, Mel claims that she’d done 16 poos the next day, due to the E. coli exposure. When Tom Gleeson notes her rowing experience advantage, Mel insists that it didn’t help, as all of the ducks were making noise. She also complains that the task brief should have included more specific guidance.
When asked what medical advice the duck had given, Mel jokes that she couldn’t hear what Pete Evans was saying [Pete Evans is an Australian celebrity chef who received criticism for promoting an anti-vaccination podcast and was fined for promoting questionable treatments for Covid-19].
Mel completes the task in 11 minutes and 50 seconds and earns 3 points.
