The task brief is held between the slices of a loaf of white bread, on a plinth on the dock. The brief for the task is as follows:
Find the quack.
One of these ducks has been giving out unsubstantiated medical advice.
Fastest to deliver the quack to Tom wins.

Task notes
- The word ‘quack’ can mean the sound that a duck makes, or can refer to a fraudulent medical practitioner.
- Floating on the pond, there are dozens of plastic decoy ducks, many (if not all) of which contain audio devices which are emitting quacks.
- One of the ducks contains an audio device which is transmitting an audio recording of Tom Cashman giving out unsubstantiated medical advice.
- Hidden between the slices of the loaf of bread, there is a business card for the target duck, who goes by the name of ‘Community Ducktor’ and is practicing as an ‘Official Quack’. The business card features an image of the duck in question, to help the contestants find them on the pond.
