Pete upsets Tom Cashman by tearing up a business card

Pete misinterprets the task brief, asking Tom Cashman if one of the ducks is quacking, so Tom has to correct him.
Pete then asks if he needs the bread, before grabbing the whole pile, and setting off. He rows away from all of the ducks, claiming to hear something, but then scoops up the right duck before confirming that it’s giving out dodgy advice.
Upon returning to the dock, Pete dramatically tears up the duck's business card, which he finds amongst the slices of bread.
In the studio, Tom Gleeson mocks Pete’s lack of confidence in the boat, especially given his salty sea dog appearance.
Tom Cashman takes offence at the destruction of a business card, referencing his beloved business card collection which was previously discussed during the ‘Turn yourself into a piece of furniture’ task in episode 3. When Pete attempts to defend himself by pointing out that the card was for a dodgy doctor, Tom Cashman retorts “Don’t shoot the messenger”, pointing out that it was a clue.
Pete completes the task in 7 minutes and 11 seconds, and earns 4 points.
