Pete makes sure that his message is very specifically targeted

Pete initially sniffs the task brief, explaining that he wants to know what the little man who made the footprints had on his shoes when he walked on it.
When he asks if he has to use an existing mat, Tom replies only with “If you want.” Pete says that he’d prefer it if Tom didn’t see what he was creating, so Tom leaves the room.
Pete sets up his mat in the entrance to the study, and then casually sits reading a book inside. The message on the mat simply reads “Fuck off Tom James Cashman”. Upon seeing this, Tom realises that this is why Pete had earlier asked for his middle name — not out of interest, but so he could be very specific in his messaging.
When Tom blows his whistle thanks Pete for his attempt, Pete responds “What part of the welcome mat do you not understand?”.
Pete earns 3 points.
