Rhys threatens to eat Tom Cashman’s arse

When Rhys initially proposes that the message on the mat could say “I’m going to eat your arse, Tom Cashman”, Tom sarcastically replies “Oh no.” Rhys suggests that Tom should turn around while they work on their mat, before changing their mind, stating “That’s asking for trouble”.

Rhys gathers arts and crafts supplies, asks Tom to leave the room, and then heads to the kitchen, where they burn some toast. Back in the study, Rhys says they want the mat to make guests feel like they’re having a stroke. They arrange burnt toast, tinned chicken, and smashed eggs on and around the mat, on which they have written ‘No Toms’.

When Tom returns to the study, Rhys leads him in, narrating the scene as though Tom is approaching their house. When Tom says that he smells something, Rhys asks whether he’s feeling alright, suggesting that he might need to go to a hospital. Rhys then throws another egg onto the floor.

Tom notices a piece of paper stuck to the mat, which reads 'I’m gonna eat your arse'. When Rhys confirms “That’s a promise”, Tom looks very concerned. When Rhys then asks “How welcome do you feel?”, Tom replies “Not very”. Rhys then mistakenly says “You’re very welcome”, before quickly adding “You’re not at all”.

In the studio, Tom Gleeson says that the mat was definitely unwelcoming, but it also looked like perhaps Rhys was just slovenly. Rhys agrees, stating that it stank in the study due to everything he’d put on the mat. They then ask “Why is this on TV?”, before adding “That’s the question we ask about Tom Cashman every day.” Tom Cashman responds that he’s just glad that Rhys is thinking about him daily.

Rhys earns 2 points.
