Minka douses Pilvi with water and declares her love

Here's a description of the contestant's attempt. Someone's probably working on collecting some images to illustrate it.

As Minka enters the house, she muses that if she’d had more time, she might have ordered a pizza, or planned something else surprising.

Instead, she grabs a small household bin and removes the garbage bag from it. She then places a clipboard near the root cellar with a message on it instructing Pilvi to wait. She then lays a banana peel on the ground nearby, next to the door, before crouching on the hill above the root cellar, with the bin now full of with water.

When Pilvi emerges from the root cellar, Minka pours the water over her. As Pilvi then stands there, shocked and soaked, Minka rushes down, grabs her hand, kneels down, and declares her love.

In the studio, Jaakko compares the surprise to a kind of “Nigerian letter” scam and wonders whether it had gone too far. Pilvi says that that the water dousing had been the most surprising element, and that the subsequent declaration of love felt like a slightly uncomfortable attempt to make up for it.

Minka earns 3 points for her surprise.
