Aku uses slow-mo for dramatic effect

Here's a description of the contestant's attempt. Someone's probably working on collecting some images to illustrate it.

Aku gathers various materials from the root cellar, then climbs up a ladder to the roof of the house to test how slowly they fall. He becomes frustrated at the lack of scissors or a knife, and ends up chopping a rope with an axe. After securing two pieces, he ties them to a sheet of plastic. He briefly considers using the flagpole, but abandons the idea without explanation.

Aku’s final parachute is a piece of bubble wrap tied with string around a mug containing the egg, with no protective cushioning inside. He makes his throw from the middle window of the second floor’s three-windowed room. To add drama, he persuades the crew to show the egg dropping in slow-motion. When the parachute lands behind a bush, Pilvi checks it and confirms that the egg is intact.

In the studio, Pilvi notes Aku’s parachute hadn’t really slowed the egg’s descent by much, but that his egg did survive.

Since the eggs’ fall times were comparable across the board, Jaakko awards points based on dramatic flair. Aku earns 2 points, plus a bonus point for his intact egg.
