Tim pisses around with balloons
Tim’s immediate plan is to use helium balloons to float the boulder away from the house.
He is then seen filling balloons with helium and tying them to the boulder.
Having attached at least a dozen of them to the prop, he then suggests that maybe he and Alex can lift the boulder and throw it up into the air to get it started on its journey.
Predictably, this plan fails instantly, with the boulder even shedding one of its already insufficient balloons.
Realising that his initial plan is doomed to failure, Tim asks Alex to help him put the boulder on top his small white van, which is parked in the driveway.
Having secured the boulder on top of Alex’s van, they then drive away from the Taskmaster house, with the remaining balloons still blowing around above, and occasionally coming loose.
Back in the studio, it is revealed that, after about 40 minutes of messing around with balloons, they were able to drive the boulder 2.3 miles away.
Tim ultimately places third in the task, despite “pissing round with balloons” for most of his available time.
