Claudia's underwhelming bovine toss
Claudia places her eggcup on the top of Linda the cow.
She is then seen in slow motion, with dramatic incidental music, and close-up shots, throwing the egg over the cow, onto the grass on the other side.
The same action is then seen at normal speed, and without the added drama of close-ups and incidental music, in a wider shot, revealing just how undaring the attempt actually was.
She picks the egg up and places it in the eggcup. For added drama, this scene is also shown in slow motion with incidental music.
Greg is unimpressed, describing her attempt as “an over-excited woman throwing an egg over a cow”.
In response to Claudia’s attempt to defend her work by emphasising how quickly it was all done, Alan Davies counters that, in fact, she had been “profoundly lazy”.
Claudia then attempts to point out that the egg hadn’t broken upon its landing on the grass, which Greg and Alex immediately point out is entirely normal.
She is given two points for her attempt, which Greg describes as a “rich reward”.
