Sayeeda fails to sniff out the vinegar
Sayeeda approaches the task nose-first, smelling the shot glasses systematically, one-by-one. She admits to Alex that she has a very good sense of smell.
She stops to drink some elderflower cordial she has identified by smell, just because she likes it. She also drinks a shot of coconut water, which she seems keen on.
She begins to question, based on what her nose is telling her, whether there is actually any vinegar present. When Alex points out that the task ends whenever she shouts that she has ‘drunk all the vinegar’, she immediately does so.
Back in the studio, Sayeeda says she is unsure what the “legal definition” of vinegar is “under the Foods Standards Agency”, so intends to challenge the result of the task, whatever it is.
Alex confirms that there was, in fact, one shot of vinegar on the table, and that Sayeeda had been incredibly close to sniffing it at the very point when she decided to end the task.
Because she did not drink all of the vinegar, Sayeeda scored no points in this task.
