Shoë's rock 'n' roll umlauts

Here's a brief description of the contestant's attempt. Someone's probably working writing up more detail!

Joe and Sian formed a band called Shoë, with their album called itṡ too biḡ. Their album cover featured Joe in a shirt and tie lying next to a 'dead' Sian, who had a rose laying on her. Whilst justifying their cover in the studio, Joe and Sian performed a small segment of the song.
