Jon uses a simple but winning technique

Jon also decides to have a go at throwing the potato with no precautions in place, and also misses by just inches, leaving the potato just out of reach on the red green.

He runs off to the shed and returns with a croquet mallet, with which he is able to retrieve the potato. He then runs back around to where he started and takes another pot shot at the hole, again missing by just inches.

He retrieves the potato once more, and then succeeds on his third throw.

Back in the studio, Alex reveals that Jon completed the task in just 1 minute and 9 seconds. With Joe’s disqualification from the task, Jon places first.
