Joe orders “slices of pig”
Joe’s first call attempt goes to an unrecognised number.
Once he is able to get through to someone he asks them for a “round doughy meal”, rather than a ‘pizza’, and requests it “without the red sauce” and “without the fromage”.
He requests that the pizza should have “circular, thin meat” rather than ‘pepperoni’, and “slices of pig”, rather than ‘bacon’. However, he scuppers himself, once the person on the other end of the phone finally suggests ‘bacon’, by repeating the word himself.
As he hangs up the phone, Joe tells the restaurant worker that he loves them.
Back in the studio, Alex confirms that Joe made only one mistake in his order, by using the word ‘bacon’. He also confirms that the pizza that was received from the restaurant was correct: just meat on bread.
Cutting back to Joe’s attempt to get the worker to say ‘bubbles’ for a bonus point, he is seen telling the person on the phone that his name is ‘Bubbles’ (pronounced like ‘Bublé’). However, this tactic does not appear to work as intended, as the worker does not repeat it.
Joe is then seen just asking the worker outright to say ‘bubbles’ as a favour. The man’s incredulous and contradictory response is “Bubbles!? No.”, thus earning Joe his bonus point.
Summing up the task, Alex states that Joe’s pizza had been the second most accurate order received.
