Fern's ugly underwear

Here's a description of the contestant's attempt. Someone's probably working on collecting some images to illustrate it.

Fern brought in some ugly underpants to represent a series of sets of ugly underwear that her mum had sent her. She didn't seem to register that the aim was to bring in the 'best' thing received through the post until the end of the task.
