Sofie also realises that she can use Mark to her advantage, but instead asks him to carry her pile of flour down to the target.

He initially asks for 500 kronor to complete this task for her, but she haggles him down to 250 kronor, and then cheats him by just sending a reel of silk thread (from the supplies given to her) down to him in a small basket attached to a balloon, claiming that it is worth 400 kronor.

Somehow, moving the flour to the target, rather than vice-versa, means that she gets 98 croissants worth of flour onto the target (approximately 5.71kg, based on Jacob's result), which secures her the win in this task.
