Simon gives up on Martin's puzzle

Here's a description of the contestant's attempt. Someone's probably working on collecting some images to illustrate it.

Simon has the misfortune of having to solve Martin's almost impossible puzzle. Although all of the clues are present for him, written across the piles of coloured paper on the desk, he is unable to make any sense of them, since some of the letters are not in the correct order. After struggling for a while, he gives up on the puzzle.
