Rebecca very much under-estimates
Rebecca starts out by making notes on her count on a piece of paper but, after having to put on the kaleidoscopic goggles, drops that plan. Instead, she counts the number of dots in a small area of the card (17), and plans to multiply that up, based on what proportion of the card she thinks it covers.
She struggles to convincingly talk like a pirate, but asks for a calculator, to help her work out her estimate. She uses the calculator to multiply 17 by 16, and comes up with a total of 272. However, at the end of the task, she revises her estimate to 293.
In the studio, Alex shares that she did not notice that he was flipping the card over, each time the doorbell rang.
Her estimate is 1,449 out from the actual total, so she places last in the task.
