Amelia gets lucky with the booby-traps, but still loses
Instead of carrying the fish bowl around with her, Amelia fetches what cans she can, and returns them to the bowl outside.
She visits the plastic dome first, setting off the booby-trap and losing some of the pellets to the floor. She then tries to carry the colander itself, with the can balanced on top, out of the dome, before apparently abandoning that plan.
When she opens the door to the caravan, she is fortunate that the booby-trap for some reason fails, so most of the pellets are not spilled on the floor. She manages to get into the caravan with straight legs and retrieve the remaining contents of the can.
She finally visits the living room, where she is able to walk straight through the tripwire without setting off the trap, and retrieve the entire can of pellets.
In total, Amelia retrieves approximately the same number of pellets as there are people in Market Warsop, Nottinghamshire: 9,000. She therefore earns last place in the task.
