Carol performs an impressive feat of straight-bodied leaning
Instead of carrying the fish bowl around with her, Carol fetches what cans she can, and returns them to the bowl outside.
She visits the living room first, managing to avoid the trip-wire and retrieve the entire can of pellets from that room.
She sets off the booby-trap in the caravan, losing all of that can's contents to the floor.
In the plastic dome, she quickly identifies the nature of the booby-trap, and only loses a few pellets, before using another, larger can to cover the smaller one, and invert the whole arrangement - including the colander - to safely collect the remaining contents.
In the lab, she sets off the booby-trap, losing the giant can of carp pellets to the floor. At this point, she exclaims "That's a swizz!", thus coining the episode title.
She heads out into the garden to find supplies to help, but misses the dustpan and brush held by Greg's statue, instead returning from the shed with a fishing net and a sledge.
She apparently does not find a use for the sledge, but is able to stiffly prop her own body up at an angle against a doorframe, and reach down to scoop pellets with the net, before grabbing the can itself with her hand, and using it to scoop more of the pellets back into itself.
She then takes her net to the plastic dome and the caravan, and uses it to collect a few more of the spilled pellets from both locations.
In total, Carol retrieves approximately the same number of pellets as there are people in Bathgate, West Lothian: 23,000. She therefore earns fourth place in the task.
