Luke removes a balloon from the caravan

Luke re-reads the task and identifies that it specifically states that he may not 'step' into the caravan.

He interprets this as meaning that he is free to enter the caravan, as long as he doesn't 'step'. He then sits inside the doorway and slides back on his backside to retrieve the balloon, maintaining eye contact with Tom Cashman throughout.

He thus retrieves the balloon very quickly but, on checking with Tom about whether he thinks his solution will be approved, is reminded of the rule about not 'touching' the caravan, which he had clearly broken.

He is therefore disqualified from the task.
