Danielle guesses some passwords

Danielle has an absolute nightmare during this task.

She starts out well, guessing 'password', 'open sesame', 'come on in', 'bomb', 'Tom', 'Gleeson', 'is', 'a', 'mongoose', 'koi fish', 'fungus', 'lily pad', 'Ulysses butterfly', 'roses', 'dad', 'rent', 'EPSQ', 'quoll', 'nickel', 'yabbie', 'Jupiter', 'human', and 'budgerigar'. That final word is the first one which Tom Cashman is seen declining, even though she had previously guessed two words starting with 'R', so the edit may be slightly misleading on how successful she was at first, for dramatic effect.

It is revealed on screen that she only has three letters remaining unused at this point: 'V', 'X', and 'Z'.

She states that she is unable to tell if there is any connection between the accepted passwords, and then proceeds to guess 'guava', 'pecan', 'France', 'care', 'trawler', 'prawn', 'boat', 'reef', 'parrot fish', 'shrimp', 'krill', 'bow bung', 'burrow', 'Thailand', 'northern hairy-nosed wombat', 'time out', 'rooster', 'steam', 'That's So Raven', 'Keith Urban', 'kangaroo', 'Rikki-Tikki-Tavi', 'Subaru', 'chrysalis', 'Taika Waititi', 'Mars', and 'Uranus', all of which are declined.

Continuing on her planetary theme, she then guesses 'Venus', which is accepted.

She is struggling to identify a pattern, and seems to have an inkling that the alphabet might be involved but, once Tom discloses to her that the order of the passwords doesn't matter, that really seems to throw her off.

Further declined passwords include 'crayfish', 'fishing rod', 'psychopath', 'kaka', and 'mochaccino'.

Tom takes pity on her at this point, and reads out all of the accepted passwords so far, in alphabetical order: 'A', 'Bong-along-along', 'Come along', 'Dad', 'EPSQ', 'Fungus', 'Gleeson', 'Human', 'Is', 'Jupiter', 'Koi fish', 'Lily pad', 'Mongoose', 'Nickel', 'Open sesame', 'Password', 'Quoll', 'Roses', 'Sugarcane', 'Tom', 'Ulysses', 'Venus', 'Wrench', and 'Yabbie'.

She appears completely blind to the clue, though, responding "But I've said other things that are alive."

Tom tries to drop more hints to the alphabet connection by repeating several times that there are two left out of 26, but it just isn't clicking for her.

She tries to retrace her steps, making guesses including 'taco' and 'armyworm', before she finally gets it.

Although she says she doesn't know which letters she might not have used, she quickly guesses 'xylophone' and 'zebra', which are both accepted.

In the studio, Danielle is crying at having watched her own performance, and Tom Gleeson has to ask her "Are you okay?", thus coining the title of the episode.

He then tells her that, after all that effort, she had dropped a rose. He quickly clarifies that is not true though, and that he'd just wanted to see the look on her face.

Tom Cashman reveals that Danielle made a total of 503 guesses which, after Luke's disqualification, secures her fourth place.
