Nina's 10 cent coin
Nina brings in an Australian 10 cent coin, minted in 1974.
Acknowledging that she cannot possibly win the season at this point, she also brings in A$49.90 in ten cent coins in a jar, to pay up on her bet with Tom Cashman, early on during filming, that she would win. She claims, then, that the additional 10 cent coin she brought in for the prize task is also "the best thing for Tom Cashman to get all the money from the bet".
When Tom Cashman points out that he won't necessarily get the final 10 cents, if she doesn't win the episode, she tells him to "find a way".
Tom Gleeson awards her second place for her factual accuracy.
