Victor’s steady rhythms
Victor attempts to memorise his cards by naming them aloud in a steady rhythm. When he realises that all of cards at the start of the deck are diamonds, he shortens the rhythm in an attempt to remember more cards. This apparently does not work well for him, so he goes back to his original beat. Victor’s memorisation method and recitation attempt are both complete disasters, as he only guesses two cards correctly, and therefore comes last.
