Vegard breaks out the siphon

Vegard shows up to the task with a utility knife, hoping that it's a task which will need a knife right away.

In the studio, Olli pre-empts the video of his attempt by asking the other contestants what method they think Vegard will use for the task.

They all agree that he will use the "most nerdy solution" - the 'hageslange hevert' ('garden hose siphon'), as they imagine he thinks "when there’s liquid, it must be siphoned".

Vegard begins his attempt by immediately running off to the garage, and coming back with a reel of garden hose.

He uses his utility knife to cut a length of hose, and efficiently siphons the coffee out of the carafe, and into the mug.

His time isn't specified in the studio, but he earns second place, so he must have taken between 35 seconds and 3 minutes and 45 seconds.
