Bård paints a postal horn
Bård begins with a guttural sigh, after reading the task brief.
He starts off by trying to find a reference photo on his phone, as he says he needs to know exactly how "round" Atle is.
He begins spray-painting on the back side of a mounted world map. He paints in silence, looking intently at his work like he might actually know what he’s doing. He then finishes off by stating that he’s relatively happy with his painting.
In the studio, he initially can't remember what he'd created. He unveils the artwork to reveals a board with the word ‘Atle’ and a heart painted in the bottom right corner, and with a caricature of Atle in the top left.
Atle’s head is drawn like a red egg, with his eyes and nose together in a muppet-esque line, and a full beard at the bottom, with drips of paint.
Atle is perplexed, and thinks that the face is actually a postal horn symbol, before Bård explains that it’s meant to be him.
Bård then tries to style it out, explaining that he'd used "minimalistic strokes to convey the Neanderthal-esque face" of Atle Antonsen. This falls on deaf ears, and Atle awards him last place.
