Vegard feels like Van Gogh
Vegard responds negatively to the task brief as soon as he reads it.
He struggles to open up a large easel, and then fetches a canvas and a milk crate full of spray paint cans.
He takes eight minutes to spray-paint a patchy light green background before realising it was a bad idea. He then pivots to a more illustrative approach, while remarking on the fatness of Atle’s neck.
At one point, Vegard claims to feel "a little bit like Van Gogh", before laughing at how ugly his painting is turning out.
When Vegard is finished, Olli asks him how he would rate his painting, "via a roll of the dice" ('terningkast'; Norwegians apparently like to rate things out of six). Vegard responds with a non-rating of "Go away."
In the studio, Vegard claims to have forgotten what his work looks like, and then reveals a mediocre, but recognisable portrait of Atle.
He seems genuinely surprised with how well it turned out, but Atle says that it’s "complete ass", and places him fourth.
