Calle uses a patio umbrella
Calle requests that the video of his painting process not be shown in-studio, to avoid ruining the surprise of its reveal. He states that he couldn’t find a large enough canvas, so he'd decided to use something else from the garage.
He goes to the back of the stage, and then dramatically requests that the screen be lifted, thus revealing a large square patio umbrella. He then tilts it onto its side, so the top of the canvas is facing the audience, revealing a giant, sinister image of a clown with green hair, red nose and mouth, and dead white eyes.
Calle claims his interpretation depicts Atle’s position as the "clown of all of Norway". He presents no other arguments for his case.
Atle assumes that Calle didn’t have enough skills, and so had chosen to aim for "quantity over quality". However, he also says that "quantity always wins", and awards Calle first place.
