Calle creates an unforgettable experience

Calle presents Atle with a small gift, and explains that even though he doesn’t know Atle that well, he knows that it makes Atle happy when others feel uncomfortable. As a result, his gift is more of an experience than a physical gift – though he says Atle can keep the item itself, as well.

Atle then unwraps the package to find a small pair of scissors inside. Calle tells Atle that he can use these to give him a short fringe. The audience and the rest of the contestants love this idea, as Calle proceeds to comb the front of his hair straight down over his forehead.

Atle gets Calle to sit on the microwave, facing the cameras. Beginning relatively high up on Calle’s forehead, he proceeds to cut on a diagonal angle, making Calle's fringe even shorter by the time he reaches the other side. Prompted by comments from the other contestants, Atle leaves some longer strands at the side.

Calle gives his new short fringe another comb, before getting a pat on the back from Atle, who seems genuinely delighted.

Maria can’t stop laughing, as they try to continue the show.

Atle awards Calle a well-deserved first place for his gift-experience.
