Kathrine calls her mother

Kathrine’s hometown is Marslet (a railway town just south of Aarhus, in east Denmark).

When she initially reads the task brief, the thing that initially comes to her mind is the fact that Marslet is known for a 40 tonne rock from the ice age, literally known as ‘Marsletstenen’ (‘Marslet rock’).

She soon has the idea to have her own mother sell Lasse on the idea of moving to Marslet, instead.

She starts a FaceTime call with her mother, Jette, and after explaining the situation, presents the phone to the camera.

Jette immediately improvises a speech, declaring that Marslet lays in “the sweet spot between forests and hills”, and is close to the city (Aarhus, the second-largest city in Denmark), as well as the beach.

When Mark asks if the rumours are true that people drink and vomit on Marsletstenen, Jette diplomatically answers that that has happened to a few people, but that just makes Marslet more interesting.

In the studio, Anders asks about Marsletstenen once again, and Kathrine finally admits that it was her and a group of friends who would meet at the rock and get drunk, but insists that the stone really is a meeting spot for the local youths.

Lasse awards Kathrine last place.
