Hadi has a Guz Khan moment

Hadi picks up the box of ducks and starts throwing them at the balloon – actually managing to hit it at least once.

He then moves on to the blowpipe and pebbles, once again hitting the balloon without actually popping it (and declaring that he felt cheated that it did not pop).

After presumably running out of pebbles, Hadi examines the string connecting the balloon to the stanchions, and starts to prod at it with the blowgun.

He returns to Mark’s shop and buys a fork.

Using the blowpipe and the fork, Hadi starts to pull at the knot securing the string to the stanchion.

He is eventually successful in untying it and, with a pull of the fork, releases the spikes which pop the balloon.

Hadi expresses his annoyance that he hadn’t thought of this solution earlier.

He pops the balloon in 9 minutes and 20 seconds, and earns second place.
