Petra pressures Mark’s ‘intimate sphere’

When he introduces Petra’s attempt, Mark says that although he often gets close to the contestants while filming, the height of pressure on his “intimate sphere” – until this experience – had been French-kissing Tobias Rahim (in season 5, episode 3’s ‘Do something that crosses a line’ task).

After reading the task brief, Petra rolls up her sleeves and tells Mark to get close to her, and start whispering in her ear.

She assures him that he does not need to whisper “naughty things”, but just whisper.

Mark leans down to Petra and asks her, in a whisper, what she wants to have for dinner.

Petra tells Mark that he needs to get closer to her.

Mark obliges, his lips nearly touching her ear, and then asks Petra what he’s currently wearing, and how she feels at that current moment.

Petra complains that Mark’s whispering has failed to give her goosebumps, so she switches tactics.

After an attempt utilising a bowl of ice, which didn’t make the edit, Petra asks if the Stormester house has a deep freezer.

A compromise is reached, with Petra, dressed in just her underwear and a vest, climbing into a bathtub full of ice-cold water in the garden.

Initially this doesn’t seem to be working but, as Petra continues to sit in the bath, bemoaning her lack of ideas, goosebumps finally begin to appear on her arms.

She manages to get goosebumps after 25 minutes and 16 seconds (10 minutes of which was spent with Mark awkwardly whispering in her ear), and earns third place.
