Thomas creates a multi-layered noise
Thomas spends some time thinking about what noises he likes.
He wonders if the first cry of a baby would be a good noise, but quickly rejects this idea as he does not know where to find a woman who is actively giving birth.
He then decides on the sound of a bowling strike.
He brings a bowling ball and a bucket full of bottles of some sort of alcoholic beverage into the lab.
He opens the bottles and pours all of the alcohol into the bucket before arranging the bottles in the traditional triangular bowling pin formation.
Using a few easels to create a mini bowling alley, Thomas says the phrase to start the sound recording, and then rolls the bowling ball into the bottles.
In the studio, Thomas argues that his noise has layers: not only does he enjoy the sound of a strike, but also the sound of throwing bottles into the recycling bin.
He also says that since he does not drink, he finds enjoyment in the sound of bottles of alcohol being emptied.
Swayed by his story, Lasse awards Thomas second place.
