Sofie provides a punchline

Sofie walks around the house, taking note of all of the electrical items, before finally walking into the study.

After a few rounds of flicking the switch and checking back in the study, Sofie asks if Mark can just tell her what the switch does.

When he refuses, Sofie turns to the crew and asks if any of them will tell her.

After a few more rounds of testing, Sofie wonders if she’s missing something obvious, and decides that the whole elaborate set-up is a red herring – that the answer is a joke, and that the switch simply “switches things on or off”, making or breaking a circuit.

The amount of time Sofie spends on the task is not given, but she is disqualified.
