Melvin displays his skating skills

Melvin realises that the task does not forbid Mark from touching the balls.

He therefore asks Mark to gently push one of the balls, which reveals a number written upon it.

Melvin then has Mark roll the rest of the balls enough to reveal their own numbers.

After making sure that he knows which balls are which, Melvin quickly skates around the rink, removing one ball at a time from the ice in the correct order.

He clears the rink in 1 minute and 14 seconds, and earns second place.
