Jacob guesses the combination

Jacob notices the combination lock on the box, and wonders if the code might be hidden somewhere in the study.

He finds the UV flashlight, and declares that the code is probably hidden in a dark place, so starts searching behind the curtains in the study.

He does actually find some sort of numbers behind the curtain, and tries using them on the combination lock, but they are apparently not correct.

He instead starts trying to brute-force the combination on the padlock, trying different number combinations.

He eventually does manage to guess that the code for the lock is ‘112’, and opens the box, to find the jigsaw puzzle inside.

He solves the puzzle, which sends him to the shed, where he finds the party popper that sends him back to the study to check under the taxidermy rooster.

He finds the photo of the key under the rooster, tells Mark where it is, and then Mark frees himself.

Jacob completes the task in 36 minutes, and earns fourth place.
