Jacob’s alternate currency
Jacob starts placing coins into the dish, but stops after coming up with another idea.
He searches the study for a pencil and, after finding one, tears off a blank part of the task brief.
On this strip of paper, Jacob writes a check to Mark Le Fêvre for ‘100,000’.
In his final few seconds, Jacob crumples up the ‘check’ and places it in the small dish.
In the studio, Lasse acknowledges that the task specified ‘money’ and not ‘coins’, and that checks are considered legal tender, so he accepts Jacob’s solution.
Jacob therefore wins the task.
