Sofie’s simple solution

Sofie reads the task brief and focuses on the fact that the small dish must not sink.

She decides, then, that she needs to just get the small dish out of the fishbowl.

She uses a magnifying glass to lift the dish out of the fishbowl, and place it on the table.

She then pours as much of Mark’s swear box currency into the dish as possible, not paying attention to the numeric value of the coins.

Sofie’s coins add up to 1,264, which earns her second place.
