Stephania’s questionable justification

Stephania pours out all of the coins, and simply stares at the coins and the fishbowl for a bit.

She re-reads the task, and wonders if she can just remove the water from the fishbowl, to keep it from sinking.

Stephania uses Mark’s swear box to remove some of the water from the bowl.

Instead of continuing to remove the water, Stephania somehow convinces herself that doing so will actually make the task more difficult, and so she starts dropping coins into the small bowl, which sinks.

She presses on, though, carrying the fishbowl to the kitchen and pouring out the water.

She then drops a few more coins into the small dish before her time runs out.

Stephania attempts to justify her actions, in the studio, by saying that even though the task brief forbade the small dish from sinking, that the opposite can still happen (i.e. the small dish can ‘un-sink’ through the removal of the water).

After much debate (and likely because she’s so far behind on the scoreboard), Lasse accepts Stephania’s justification.

However, Stephania still had the least amount of money in the dish (although the actual numeric value is not revealed), so she places last.
