Dai creates his own little Britain

Using string, Dai marks out a region on the ground around the bathtub to represent Britain.

He is wearing a tall black cylinder on his head with the Union Flag on it, and claims to be a member of the Welsh Guard.

Putting on a light cockney accent, Dai invites Paul into the country.

There are two plastic chairs next to a table with Union Flags strung around it, with a teapot, milk, sugar, and a cup and saucer on it. He offers Paul a cup of tea, pretending to pour the teapot and making the sound himself.

His miniature Britain also has a wicket and ball to represent cricket, and an encyclopaedia with a tiara on top of it.

He also points out the bath (which is also adorned with Union Flags), claiming that people don’t have showers in the UK. When Paul disputes this claim, saying he’s showered in England, Dai fobs him off by saying that they’re “getting into semantics”.

There is also a lion statue in Dai’s miniature Britain, which Dai introduces as “the British lion”.

When Paul questions why there is a pearl necklace present, Dai explains by simply putting them on and saying “Oooh, you’re clutching to your pearls!”.

At the end of his attempt, Dai stands behind Paul to give him the very British experience of creating an impromptu queue of two people.

He earns joint fourth place.
