Ray finds the CD version

Ray correct identifies the first tape, and so hears the word “the”. He then fails to correctly identify the kahawai fish, and so ends up listening to Guy Williams’ national anthem for Libya.

He seems to get more confused after this point, thinking he needs to replay the tape with the Libyan national anthem on it, before hearing the word “room” come from a tape which he doesn’t seem to know is still playing.

He also hears the phrase “your time”, and the word “snap”, before identifying which tape player the tape containing the word “room” was in.

He loses track of a lot of the tapes, as they end up scattered around the room and are unlabelled. He does think to retrieve the fish poster from the shed at one point, but it is too late in the process for it to help him.

He tries rewinding the “room” tape to listen to it again, and then finds the scallop tape containing the message “No-one asked you to play this tape”.

He then discovers that he has somehow rewound the “room” tape incorrectly, as the tape player is making a clicking sound.

He then finds the CD in the CD player and plays it, finally hearing the full task brief.

He snaps the pencil after 34 minutes and 54 seconds, earning fourth place.
