Karen’s marshmallow bet

Karen bets Paul that she can put more marshmallows into her mouth than he can.

Before agreeing to the bet, she forces Paul to make their handshake as sturdy as possible.

They each have a container of large white and pink marshmallows, and decide to take it in turns to put one in their mouths at a time, in order to keep count.

There is some debate about whether one of them should use the white marshmallows while the other uses the pink ones, but it is eventually decided that it doesn’t really matter.

The game proceeds pretty uneventfully, with them both stuffing marshmallows into their cheeks and struggling more as time passes.

After eight marshmallows, Karen is having problems with the amount of drool coming out of her mouth and she bows out of the game, so Paul wins the bet.

She earns third place.
