Christian uses Google Translate

The first footage we see of Christian’s attempt is of him finding one of the task briefs written in Finnish, at which point he pulls out his phone to try to use Google Translate.

He has Olli (who speaks fluent Finnish) read the task out loud into his phone, but Google somehow translates what it hears as “pool boy.”

After Olli reads the task into Christian’s phone again, Google translates “ole tehtävä” (‘a task’) as “Ole Petter” (the name of a Norwegian physician and neuroscientist).

Failing to learn anything useful from Google Translate, Christian decides to instead just open all of the task briefs, starting with the ones laid out on the table.

He eventually finds the real task, sighs, thanks Olli, and then leaves the lab.

Christian thanks Olli after 14 minutes and 42 seconds, and earns last place.
