Stian makes a new rope
Stian starts to pull the rope towards himself, keeping the rope between the stand and himself taut, but Olli points out that there is slack rope behind Stian’s hand, and so he lengthens it.
Stian tries his next throw from a kneeling position, but it misses.
Stian then allows the rope to slacken again while trying to retrieve the ball, and earns more length.
After a few more unseen penalties, Stian has enough rope that he is forced to stand at the top of the steps leading back up to the house.
When he asks Olli how long the rope can be, Olli replies that it can be as long as Stian wants.
Stian then purposefully slackens the rope a few times, until he has enough length to allow him to enter the shed, where he grabs a hunting knife.
Stian then runs down to the stand and cuts off the majority of the rope, before tying the much shorter remaining piece to his harness, and dropping the ball directly into the bucket.
In the studio, Atle rejects Stian’s solution, as the “amputated rope” was still slack on the ground behind him.
Olli points out that if Stian had hidden the rope prior to dropping the ball into the bucket, he might have gotten away with his solution.
Stian says that what makes him the most angry about his disqualification is that he knows that the next video shown will be someone successfully landing their throw on their first attempt (he is absolutely correct about this).
