Dai lifts an anchor

Dai heads to the shed, where he discovers an anchor.

He then sets up a pulley system with two ropes, whereby one end of each rope is attached to the anchor, and the other has a small piece of pool noodle attached to it, to use as handles.

The ropes are strung over the balcony above, while the handles and anchor are at ground level.

He operates his machine by holding onto the two handles and moving away from the anchor, to lift it up, before operating it like a regular cable machine one might find in a gym.

When Paul asks him about the cost of his device, Dai says it’s just three payments of NZ$19.95.

In the studio, he claims that he got into the gym scene as a kid who was exposed to “steroids and cigarettes”, thus coining the episode title.

He earns 3 points.
