Susan researches the family tree

After reading the task brief, Susan leans in close to the stone and politely asks it whether she can have the sword. When asking politely doesn’t work, she tries a bit more forcefully (“Go on, give me the sword!”) before actually starting to try to solve the task.

She opens the cracker and reads the set-up for the joke, and also finds the small foot inside.

She then reads the motto on the flag, declaring it “gobbledygook”.

She enters the LandPod, where she finds the family tree, then Googles ‘What comedian is related to Catherine Knollys?’. Google provides Susan with the correct answer of Josh Widdicombe.

Susan successfully pulls the sword out of the stone after 14 minutes, and earns second place.
