Julian writes some fan letters
Julian writes a fan letter to the TV presenter Stephen Mulhern, complimenting his smile, congratulating him on becoming the new host of Deal or No Deal, and asking him for a signed photograph.
He then writes a second fan letter to the Conservative party politician Jacob Rees-Mogg, saying that he hopes he will one day become Prime Minister, and claiming that would be “the best since [Margaret] Thatcher”, before also asking him for a signed photograph.
He signs both letters with the name ‘Peter McDonald’, which are his middle names.
In the studio, Greg points out that Julian’s choice of public figures is random, and Julian replies that he’d found the idea of those two individuals in particular responding to be amusing.
Alex confirms that Jacob Rees-Mogg’s office did in fact write back, but that the letter to Stephen Mulhern was returned, undelivered, as it had inadequate postage attached.
Greg awards Julian third place.
