Sam’s unconvincing prank

Sam asks if it would be mischievous to say things that he’s not meant to say, like “I love KFC” (presumably because it could be seen as advertising). Alex replies that he thinks Sam’s statement could actually be aired.

Sam therefore instead asks Alex for his phone, so he can make a prank call, before leaving the room.

When Sam re-enters the room, he is wearing safety goggles, and a bowl of water has appeared on the table.

Sam trips on the carpet and ‘accidentally’ drops the phone into the bowl of water, before retrieving it and then repeatedly hitting it with a hammer.

It’s fairly obvious that he has switched Alex’s phone out for another one, or perhaps just a phone case, and Alex does not look at all concerned.

In the studio, Alex confirms that at no point was he worried that Sam was damaging his actual phone.

Greg awards Sam last place.
