Marte’s disappearing nappy

Marte prefaces her prize task submission by bringing up a universal struggle: when one goes to the beach, what does one do with one’s valuables when it’s time to go into the water? Marte’s solution is to hide them in a disposable nappy.

She opens up a nappy on stage to reveal that it quite comfortably contains her phone, keys, and passport.

However, Marte’s entry is somewhat overshadowed by her accidental performance of a magic trick – after she lifts up the red cloth covering her nappy, she immediately drops it again, and it re-conceals the nappy, without her realising. She is then genuinely surprised that her nappy has apparently “disappeared”, and Atle and the other contestants spend much of Marte’s time making jokes about her magic act.

Atle awards Marte second place.
