Tammy has Antoine tell a joke

Prior to the task being shown, Louis points out that Tammy – as Antoine’s long-term partner – has an unfair advantage in this task.

Tammy counters that since Antoine knows her so well, she does not have the element of surprise on her side, and that the simple novelty of the other contestants could be helpful in their own attempts.

This argument may not hold as much weight as Tammy would like, as Antoine’s starting heart rate for her attempt is 80 BPM, the highest of all five contestants. Antoine insists that it is because he’s nervous about what Tammy intends to do to raise his heart rate.

Tammy stands behind Antoine and starts to unbutton his shirt, revealing his quite hairy chest. As Antoine attempts to joke that Tammy is doing exactly what Mona did, Tammy starts slapping her palms on Antoine’s belly.

Tammy then pulls Antoine out of his chair and instructs him to jump up and down, then asks him to tell his “penguin joke”. Antoine obliges, and his joke goes along these lines: a man tells another man, who has a truck bed full of penguins, that the penguins should be taken to the zoo; the next day, the first man sees the second man and the penguins again, and asks why the penguins are still there, and are now all wearing sunglasses; the second man replies that they all had such fun at the zoo the previous day that they’d decided to go to the beach.

Tammy then tells Antoine to lay on the chair with his head towards the ground, and starts tickling him.

Tammy manages to raise Antoine’s heart rate to 91 BPM, and expresses her disappointment that the increase was so low.

With an increase of just 11 BPM, she earns third place.
