Episode 2: Achoo

Image of a bookshelf upon which there is a whiten ceramic sculpture of a bear, a green wooden frog, a group of five books with the letters 'P', 'O', 'I', 'R', and 'E' on their spines, and a small ornate lamp with a lampshade (it's unclear what this image might be a reference to), with the episode title, 'Apitchou' ['Achoo'], superimposed on it.

Episode synopsis

In this episode, the contestants must bring in the creepiest, scariest item they own, raise Antoine’s heart rate, sneeze on command, make a bunch of things happen at the same time, and survive a high-stakes game of ‘Sausage or Finger?’.

Title context

“Apitchou” is how Kevin pronounces his fake sneezes during the ‘Sneeze the fastest’ task, which Marie-Lyne finds strange.

Taskmaster Intro

Good evening, and welcome to Taskmaster. My name is Louis Morissette, and I will be the Taskmaster. Over the past few weeks, I have devised a series of tasks for five beloved comedians to complete. Together, we'll find out what they did, and how they did it. As the Taskmaster, I will assign points to the most deserving contestants based on highly subjective and ambiguous criteria. The winner of the season will take home the greatest prize in television history: a replica of my head in gold.

Assistant Intro

Over to my assistant, now. He’s like my son. Except he doesn’t have an absent mother. Antoine Vezina!
